Trip information:  It's springtime and time to sign up for the Sandy River Cleanup.  This is part of the SOLV-IT project, the largest Earth Day event in the USA.  We will meet at 8:30AM and plan to be off the river by 2:00-3:00PM.  We will break into groups to cover from Dodge to Lewis and Clark Park.  No one will need to float the whole distance.

We always have a variety of watercraft:  Rafts, drift boats, kayaks and canoes.  There are sections you can choose that are rated from Class III to easy, moving water.  We especially need big boats ro haul the heavy trash items.

Please go to the following SOLV site to pre-register and sign their waver.  That will save a lot of time the day of the event.  Just look for "Multnomah County" "Troutdate", and click on "Sandy River Cleanup Dodge to Lewis & Clark" to register.

Email Russ Pascoe when you're committed to go and let him know your boat type.  He will have some passes for free entry for those who launch or take out at Oxbow.
