Trip information: 

This is a beautiful class III/IV river and is pool-drop in character.   The run is from Boulder Flat to Gravel Bin. Pinball is a class IV rapid.

We have camping reservations at Horseshoe bend in the Deerflat group area. It is located approximately 40 miles east of Roseburg on Oregon 138.  This is car camping style and is a fully self supported event. There are bathroom amenities provided.  There will be a small camping fee collected from each family at the campsite, so please bring cash to contribute to the cost. (The cost will depend on number of people participating) so please estimate between $5.00 to $10.00 per family.

We will organize shuttle by 9:00 a.m.on Saturday and will share Potluck and Dutch oven cook off competition on Saturday night. Feel free to bring or prepare any entree, side dish or dessert. We will boat both Saturday and Sunday. (Sunday optional).Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

From the North Umpqua Ranger Station (16 miles east of Roseburg on State Highway 138), take Highway 138 east 30 miles to Road #4750 near Milepost 48. Turn right on Road #4750 and right again on Road #4750-001. The campsite is to the right at first road junction inside the Horseshoe Bend Campground.
