2020 Hood River ~ (Trip Cancelled Due to Low Flows)
Hood River - Hood River History Museum, 300 E Port Marina Dr, Hood River
**Sorry ~ this trip on the Hood River for the 15th of March, 2020 has been cancelled due to low flows and freezing temps**
Class: III+ to IV
Length: 12.5 Miles
Intermediate to Advance run with beautiful scenery, challenging rapids and good play spots. This river requires Class III+ to IV skills and competence on the Upper Clackamas. It will be limited to 8 boats due to the character of the river and the long, steep river bank launch required. Also there is the off chance that water levels will not be within optimal range and an alternate river may be chosen.
This river is both rain and snow melt dependent. Minimal river flow required - 5.0' or 1,500cfs on the Hood River gauge. Maximum river flow is 8.2' or 4,500cfs.
Serious inquires please:
