Description: NOTE: This is not an OWA sponsored or supported river trip, but merely a boating community whitewater event where like-minded whitewater enthusiast gather for a weekend of boating and socializing. The racing event will take place from Stabler Bridge to High Bridge near Carson WA.
Saturday Schedule: Registration and Coffee 9am - 11am, Safety Crew Meeting 10:30am, Racers Meeting 11:30am, Races Start at 12 noon!
Roughly 1-1/4 miles down the hwy from Stabler Bridge is a parking area where spectators who are interested in viewing the races can hike down a steep and eroded trail that will lead you to the bottom section of Rams Horn Rapids (class IV+). This is the best viewing of the racers and where you can also snap good photos of boaters blasting through Rams Horn.
Volunteers and safety personel are needed for this event. So if you're interested in helping out, please report to the Registration and safety booth at Stabler Bridge. Event starts at 9:00 am. with races starting at 12 noon sharp!
