Description: Janine with the Oregon State Marine Board will discuss Waterway access issues and how applying for the grants will work. Come on down, enjoy pizza, salad and refreshments with fellow boaters.
Speaker Bio: Janine Belleque is the Boating Facilities Program Manager and Tribal Liaison for the Oregon State Marine Board. She administers numerous state and federal boating-related grant programs as well as manages a technical assistance program that can provide land and water survey, design, engineering, permitting, and planning assistance to public boating facility owners. Working cooperatively with federal, state, county, city, port, park districts, boating clubs, organizations, individuals, and Tribal Nations to develop, construct, replace and renovate boat access as well as increase opportunities for underserved communities to experience nonmotorized boating. Additionally, she has served on the Board of Directors for the States Organization for Boating Access 2013-2021 and was appointed to the federal Sport Fishing and Boating Partnership Council 2013-2022.
