Presentation: River Restoration/The Freshwater Trust

With more than 37 years of on-the-ground experience, The Freshwater Trust (TFT) is the largest restoration-focused organization in the Pacific Northwest and the second largest conservation group based in Oregon. TFT has a unique mix of in-house staff expertise, ranging from fish biologists and hydrologists to GIS experts, business and conservation systems analysts, attorneys and ecosystem services analysts. TFT was formed by the merger of Oregon Trout and the Oregon Water Trust, and has worked in nearly all of the regions of Oregon over its history. Current Oregon programs focus on the health of the Rogue, Upper Willamette, John Day and Deschutes rivers as well as the broader Columbia River basin. TFT works to implement actions and projects to improve both water quantity and water quality, as well as leading on cutting-edge research and technology to fix rivers faster and at scale.
